Orphans of Haiti

Along with Major world Countries Helping the devestated island of Haiti in the aftermath of the earthquake that hit on January 12th there are a number of organizations helping as well. One of the larger organizations that is involved with helping the orphaned children of Haiti is SOS Children's Villages. SOS is a non profit organization that helps relocate children who have been abandoned, orphaned or whose families just cannot care for them anymore. In the aftermath of the earthquake there are hundreds of children left as orphans from the damage of the earthquake. SOS has been working in Haiti for 30 years and with two of their villages still standing after the earthquake they are a big partner in childcare for the new orphans of Haiti. SOS accepts donations online in dollar amounts or you can do a bigger part and sponsor a child.
